How Long Does Flower Preservation Take? A Realistic Timeline
Honest flower preservation timeline from Falling Waters, WV: resin cures 2-3 months, finished keepsakes typically return in 4-6 months.
The most common question we hear after "how much?" is "how long?" Here's the honest timeline for a Save the Bouquet piece, step by step.
The six steps
- Order — online or by phone, before or right after your event.
- Care & shipping instructions — sent as soon as your order is placed.
- Flowers arrive — ideally within 24–48 hours of your event; we assess and begin the best preservation process for your arrangement.
- Design consultation — we finalize the design of your pieces together, going over your vision and exactly how you'll use your art.
- Creation — pressing, pouring, curing, arranging, finishing.
- Delivery or pickup — our favorite part of the process.
Why resin takes months
Resin pieces cure for 2–3 months — that slow cure is what gives our pieces their crystal clarity and durability. Depending on the season, expect finished custom products within 4–6 months of us receiving your flowers.
Worth the wait
These are heirlooms, not merchandise. Every piece is handmade by an artist, checked, and finished to be loved for generations. Plan your order early — especially for peak wedding season — by calling 304-995-9471.
