The Heirloom Process

From your hands to ours, and back again

Six unhurried steps between the flowers in your hand and the heirloom on your wall. Here's exactly what happens, and when.

    Order & consult

    Order online or call for a free consultation. For questions before placing an order, or to go over your options, call or text us at (304) 995-9471. Local to Eastern Panhandle & the Tri-State Area? You can also arrange pickup or drop your flowers at the studio: 408 W. King Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401.

    Care & shipping instructions

    The moment your order is placed, we send care and shipping/drop-off instructions. Follow them closely, they're what keeps your flowers preservation-ready. For the best results, flowers should be shipped or dropped off within 5 days of your event (24-48 hours is ideal). Older or already-dried flowers? We can still work with them using different techniques.

    Assessment & preservation

    Once your flowers arrive, we assess each bloom and choose the preservation process that shows the pure beauty of your arrangement, pressing, drying, or preparing for resin. Fragile petals get extra attention; nothing is rushed.

    Resin drying time: 2–3 months.

    Design consultation

    Before we create anything, we hold a personal design consultation to finalize your pieces, your vision, the layout, backgrounds, keepsake additions like invitations or photos, and exactly how you'll display your art. Need inspiration? Browse the gallery.

    Creation

    Now the craft: arranging, pressing, pouring, curing, sanding, and finishing. Every step is done by hand at the studio to ensure the flowers, and the piece that holds them, are beautiful for generations.

    Delivery or pickup

    Our favorite part! We deliver or meet with you to hand over your priceless preservation pieces, or ship them home fully insured, anywhere in the country. Expect your finished pieces about 4–6 months after we receive your flowers.
