Shadow Box vs. Pressed Frame vs. Resin Block: Choosing Your Display
Three beautiful ways to display preserved flowers, compared honestly - dimension, color, longevity, wall vs. shelf, and real studio prices.
Once your flowers are preserved, the big decision is how they'll live in your home. These are the three displays clients weigh most often — and how we help them choose.
What does a shadow box do best?

A shadow box keeps your bouquet dimensional — whole blooms, not flattened — so it looks closest to the day you carried it. Glass shadow boxes start at $150, with hexagon and square glass versions at $300. Choose it if you want the bouquet's shape, and you have shelf or wall space for depth.
When is a pressed frame the right call?

A pressed flower frame flattens each bloom into botanical art — every petal visible, arranged by hand. Small frames start at $175 and statement large frames at $435. Choose it if you love an airy, gallery look, want to pair flowers with an invitation or photo, or have a big wall to fill.
What makes a resin block different?

Resin display pieces suspend whole blooms in crystal-clear resin you can hold and see from every side. Cubes start at $100, hearts run $285–$500, hexagons and arches range $375–$575, and sculptural showpieces go up from there. Choose resin for durability, modern looks, and pieces that live on desks, shelves, and mantels rather than walls.
Can I combine them?
Most clients do — one bouquet has plenty of flowers for a frame on the wall plus small resin pieces to share. Compare the preservation methods themselves in pressed vs. dried vs. resin, browse real examples in the gallery, or talk it through with Michelle — the design consultation is free and nothing is decided without you.
